Academic and Library Sales
While DVDs of masterclasses are available singly for individuals to buy at a subsidised price, the MMF funds its productions by selling complete sets of DVDs to music colleges, conservatoires and other academic institutions.
Each year a minimum of 30 hours of masterclasses will be released. Purchase of a complete set will entitle an institution to:
- Loan DVDs to students and staff through a college library
- Project DVDs in classrooms
- Stream the masterclasses on a secure college intranet for the benefit of students
Special Introductory Price
£500 (approx US$900 or €625) * plus shipping
For this introductory price, each library will receive one copy of each of the first 21 DVDs, containing 30 hours of masterclasses.
This important and unique resource for students and teachers will build into a major collection of masterclasses that will last for many years.
"As a teaching resource these DVDs are both inspiring and effective. Since there is nothing else available of a comparable nature, it is my opinion and that of my teaching colleagues, that these DVDs will be of considerable value both to students and teachers for many years to come. I believe that all music colleges and conservatoires would be enriched by the acquisition of the Foundation's DVDs for their libraries."
– Sir Curtis Price, Principal of the Royal Academy of Music
A sampler DVD containing extracts from seven masterclasses is available to colleges free of charge. Please email: subscriptions@masterclassfoundation.org to order this DVD or to get further information.
*VAT at 17.5% will be added to UK/EU sales
