Mischa Scorer

The Foundation is run by Mischa Scorer. Award-winning producer and director of many documentary films and series. In the 1980's he was one of the founder members of Antelope Films, one of the first independent production companies which made the Emmy-winning 13 part series on China, “The Heart of the Dragon”.

For 15 years from 1989, he headed Scorer Associates, his own highly successful production company specialising in films about the arts and natural history. His awards include an International Emmy, a CableAce, a Golden Gate Award and a Golden Spire Award, both from the San Francisco Film Festival for Best Arts programmes in successive years, and a Peabody Award in 2004.

He will, in addition to running the Foundation, take responsibility for supervising the filming and editing of the DVDs, directing many of them himself.
